Tour Overview

Tanzania is well known for its wildlife, with lots of animals and birds in its parks, so a safari here gives you plenty to see. If you like your comfort but don't need luxury, this 3 Days Tanzania Mid-Range Safari is a good fit. You get great wildlife, beautiful scenery and comfortable places to stay that are good value, and it still feels like a real Tanzanian safari.

Your days are spent watching animals in the parks and your nights in a comfortable, well-kept room with what you need, all without spending a fortune.

This 3-day Tanzania mid-range safari visits three of the country's most beautiful wildlife areas: Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. The parks are close to each other, so you spend less time on the road and more time watching animals. It's a good choice if you're short on time and want a real Tanzanian safari with comfortable stays and plenty of wildlife in just three days.

  • Lake Manyara National Park: You start in Lake Manyara, known for the pink flamingos that gather on its lake, sometimes in very large numbers. The park lies between a forest road and the Great Rift escarpment and is home to tree-climbing lions and over 400 bird species. You'll stay in a cozy mid-range lodge.
  • Ngorongoro Crater: Next you explore the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the world's largest intact caldera, a 265 sq. km bowl with 600m walls. It's full of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, lions and hyenas, and it's one of the best places to see the Big Five. You'll stay in comfortable accommodation near the crater.
  • Tarangire National Park: You finish in Tarangire, which gets fewer visitors than many other parks. Baobab and acacia trees stand on plains full of zebras, elephants, giraffes and waterbuck. It's quieter here, and in the dry season the big elephant herds are a highlight. You'll stay in a mid-range lodge or tented camp.

What Our Travelers Say About Our Tours

  • Highly Experienced and Wonderful Crew

The 7 days Lemosho route Kilimanjaro trek exceeded our expectations. The route is so beautiful and we enjoyed tackling the mountain with experienced guides - Bakari and Nickson. They were supportive from start to finish in all the aspects of the trek, starting with the technical strategy on the speed, rests and ensuring that we were healthy through regular checks.

  • Absolutely Beautiful Memories For My Family

Traveling with my 6 members of my family of ages between 8 and 73 is always a complex task with many moving parts. We had to arrange for Mama and Poppas dietary restrictions, accommodations, easy access for Mama and off-course places with a pool and kids activities for Lil Poppa and his teenage sister Anna.

We could not have asked for a better experience on Kilimanjaro. Everything about this trip with this local operator was top notch. Starting with the booking with Naick who made it smooth and easy with his timely responses and advice. Payment was easy and they took care of all the logistics that all we had to do was present ourselves at the KIA.
