Tour Overview

Arusha National Park is one of the few parks in Northern Tanzania where you can go on a walking safari. Here a safari means a light hike with a ranger: you walk through tropical forest and watch animals on foot, not from a car. The best part is that you can walk up to the crater of Meru, the second-highest peak in Tanzania and the fifth-highest in Africa, which lies right inside the park. It’s well worth adding to your time in Tanzania.

After the walk, a jeep takes you to the far side of the park, to the Momela lakes, where you can see pink flamingos, with plenty of other animals to spot on the way.
