Itinerary

06:00 AM Pick Up from Moshi/Arusha

Depart for the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro, passing through local villages and beautiful countryside landscapes.
09:00 AM Arrive at Londorossi Gate (2,100m)

Complete park registration and meet your mountain guide.
09:30 AM Drive to Lemosho Trailhead

After registration, a short drive takes you deeper into Kilimanjaro National Park where the hike begins. The Lemosho Route officially starts from the western side of the mountain near the Lemosho Glades area.
10:00 AM Begin Forest Hike

Walk through untouched rainforest known for its rich biodiversity. This area is one of the best places on Kilimanjaro to spot wildlife, including colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and numerous bird species.

Your guide will introduce you to the mountain's ecosystems, local history, and conservation efforts.
01:00 PM Picnic Lunch in the Forest

Enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by giant trees and pristine wilderness.
02:00 PM Continue Exploring the Lemosho Forest

Continue hiking through the beautiful forest zone while enjoying views toward the Shira Plateau and western slopes of Kilimanjaro. The Lemosho approach is widely regarded as one of the mountain's most scenic routes.
03:00 PM Begin Descent

Return to the trailhead and transfer back to Londorossi Gate.
04:30 PM Departure

Meet your driver and begin the journey back to Moshi or Arusha.
