Tour Overview

Few things compare to sleeping in a simple tent on the Tanzanian savanna, under a sky full of stars, with animals calling in the distance through the night. This 6 Days Tanzania Camping Safari is an affordable trip that brings you face to face with Tanzania's wildlife. It's more than a holiday: it's a real trip into the wild, where adventure and a fair price go together.

Being this close to nature is exciting and often moving. You'll pitch your tent among some of Tanzania's best-known landscapes and settle into the rhythm of life in the bush.

In 6 days this camping safari takes you to four of Tanzania's most famous national parks, each with its own kind of wilderness:

  • Lake Manyara National Park: An easy start to your safari. The forest tracks run between a shining soda lake and the tall Great Rift Escarpment, a lovely first look at Tanzania.
  • Serengeti National Park: Known for its wildlife, especially big cats, the Serengeti is home to the Great Migration, when 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles travel 1,200 miles in search of food and water.
  • Ngorongoro Crater: Often called the world's largest intact caldera, this 265 sq. km crater is 600m deep and home to up to 30,000 animals. Camping near the rim puts you close to all of it.
  • Tarangire National Park: Tarangire has baobab trees across its plains, big elephant herds in the dry season and over 500 bird species, a real treat for wildlife lovers.

Highlights

  • 5 days of exhilarating game drives
  • Chance to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino)

What Our Travelers Say About Our Tours

  • Highly Experienced and Wonderful Crew

The 7 days Lemosho route Kilimanjaro trek exceeded our expectations. The route is so beautiful and we enjoyed tackling the mountain with experienced guides - Bakari and Nickson. They were supportive from start to finish in all the aspects of the trek, starting with the technical strategy on the speed, rests and ensuring that we were healthy through regular checks.

  • Absolutely Beautiful Memories For My Family

Traveling with my 6 members of my family of ages between 8 and 73 is always a complex task with many moving parts. We had to arrange for Mama and Poppas dietary restrictions, accommodations, easy access for Mama and off-course places with a pool and kids activities for Lil Poppa and his teenage sister Anna.

  • The Best Experience Absolutely

We could not have asked for a better experience on Kilimanjaro. Everything about this trip with this local operator was top notch. Starting with the booking with Naick who made it smooth and easy with his timely responses and advice. Payment was easy and they took care of all the logistics that all we had to do was present ourselves at the KIA.
