This 4 Days Tanzania Budget Camping Safari gives you that experience at a price that keeps your wallet happy, while still putting you right in the middle of the wild.

This 4-day Tanzania budget camping safari follows the Northern Safari Circuit and takes you to three of Tanzania's best-known places:

Lake Manyara National Park: A good place to start. The road winds through green forest beside a soda lake, with the Great Rift escarpment rising behind it. Bird lovers will enjoy it here, with over 400 species including flamingos, pelicans and storks, and you might see the park's tree-climbing lions.
Serengeti National Park: The Serengeti is known for its big cats and the Great Migration, when 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles travel across 1,200 miles. Look out for smaller animals too, like agama lizards and rock hyraxes, and over 500 bird species, from ostriches to black eagles flying over the Lobo Hills.
Ngorongoro Crater: The crater floor covers 265 sq. km, lies 600m below the rim and is home to up to 30,000 animals. It's one of the few places where you have a good chance of seeing all of the Big Five in a single day, with the crater walls all around you.

Day 1 Arusha - Lake Manyara

The drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park takes about 4 hours. After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.

Day 2 Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

The drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro conservation area takes 3 to 4 hours. Serengeti is also the home of Olduvai Gorge which is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. You will have a game drive in Serengeti from afternoon to late evening. Then, in the late evening drive to and overnight

Day 3 Half Day in Serengeti National Park

Optional: If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife The hot-air balloon gently takes you up in the air and floats wherever the morning winds may take you. During the ride you have a stunning and far-reaching view of the great plains of the Serengeti. From here you can spot big herds of wildebeest, giraffes and prides of lion’s right below you. At the right time of year and with a good amount of luck you might even be able to experience the great migration from above.

Besides that After breakfast, venture into the Serengetis wilderness corners for a half day of game viewing in the park. Take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late afternoon, drive back to campsite

Ngoro Ngoro – Simba Campsite

Day 4 Ngorongoro crater - Arusha

After breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the late afternoon drive to airport for your departure or alternatively back in your hotel.

Later on, will follow the transfer back to Arusha town, or directly to the airport
