What the Weekend Looks Like
Day 1: Tarangire game drive, night at a luxury lodge
You’ll leave Arusha mid-morning and reach Tarangire around midday. In the afternoon you’ll have a full game drive through the park and its elephant country. Then you’ll check in to a luxury lodge for a good dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep before an early start.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, then back to Arusha
We head down into the crater early, when the animals are most active and before the midday heat and the other vehicles arrive. You’ll spend several hours on the crater floor, then drive back to Arusha by early evening. You’re home in time for a normal Sunday night.
