This 6 Days Great Tanzania Northern Serengeti Migration Safari is a carefully planned budget camping safari designed by Kilisa Tours & Safaris to maximize your chances of witnessing the famous Mara River wildebeest crossings in Northern Serengeti. The safari combines Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti (Kogatende / Wagakuria – Mara River), and the Ngorongoro Crater, offering an authentic and affordable Tanzania wildlife safari experience.

Camping safaris are ideal for adventurous travelers who want to stay close to nature. You will sleep under the African sky, surrounded by the sounds of wildlife, while enjoying professionally prepared meals and guided game drives in some of Africa’s most iconic national parks.

This itinerary focuses on the Great Wildebeest Migration in Northern Serengeti, particularly the dramatic Mara River crossings that normally occur between mid-July and October. During this period, over one million wildebeest and zebras move north from Central Serengeti, crossing the Grumeti River and later the Mara River as they head toward Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

The safari also includes:
• Extensive game drives in Central Serengeti (Seronera Area)
• Full exploration of Northern Serengeti (Kogatende / Mara River)
• A visit to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater
• Drive-in / drive-out safari from Arusha
