2 Days Tanzania Camping Safari Lake Manyara | Ngorongoro Crater

On this 2 days’ safari you will see different varieties of unique species including climbing lions, good elephants and baboons. Lake Manyara is a lovely scenic park on the road from Arusha to the Ngoro Ngoro Crater. The lake itself takes up much of the park leaving a strip of land running down its shores where game concentrates.

You will be served daily meals during this safari. To avoid health problems we use only bottled water, the vehicles always come stocked with plenty of bottled water to ensure you remain hydrated while on safari.

We can't overemphasize how incredible is the experience of sleeping in a normal camping tent, over the savanna, under the starry sky and hearing wild animals during the night. Of course, it's also a great opportunity to do a life-changing safari while keeping a low budget.

    Our Safari adventure starts the moment you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, You will be met by our staff at the airport and transferred to Moshi in the peaceful surrounds of our comfortable accommodations [with the options below depending on the availability when making reservationJ]

  • Day 1

    Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park

    Drive from Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 4 hours. After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start an early afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the East Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive back droid to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, on the escarpment elephants stand in the shade of a baobab. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.

  • Day 2

    Ngorongoro Crater - Moshi

    After breakfast, drive to Ngoro Ngoro Crater with lunch box, have full day game drive in the crater.

    The Ngoro Ngoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

    Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

    You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and continue the game drive after the break. Later in the afternoon, you will travel up to the steep walls of the crater to return to Moshi.
