Whether you’re an adventure seeker or someone who values comfort, this 6 Days Tanzania Mid-Range Safari offers the perfect balance of both. You’ll encounter breathtaking wildlife, stunning landscapes, and stay in exceptional mid-range accommodations throughout the journey.

This 6-day safari takes you through four of Tanzania’s most famous and diverse national parks:

  • Lake Manyara National Park: Your safari begins here with a peaceful introduction to the Tanzanian wilderness. Lake Manyara is a picturesque park that winds its way through forested areas, offering views of Soda Water Lake and the towering Great Rift escarpment. It’s a magical start to your safari adventure, with plenty of wildlife to spot along the way.

  • Serengeti National Park: From Manyara, you’ll head to the Serengeti, one of the world’s most famous wildlife parks. The Serengeti is known for its vast plains and its incredible concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats. It’s also the home of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles travel in search of food and water. This is one of the best places in the world to witness nature's most spectacular wildlife movement.

  • Ngorongoro Crater: The next stop is the Ngorongoro Crater, an immense volcanic caldera that’s home to up to 30,000 animals. The crater's unique landscape and rich wildlife make it a top safari destination. You'll have the chance to see elephants, lions, rhinos, and much more as you explore this incredible natural wonder.

  • Tarangire National Park: Finally, you’ll visit Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s most seasonal parks. Known for its great migratory movements and stunning baobab trees, Tarangire offers incredible opportunities for bird watching. During the dry season, the park is famous for its large concentrations of elephants. It’s a great way to end your safari, with its scenic beauty and rich wildlife.

  • Starting and Ending Point: Arusha

  • Children Policy: Children aged 5 years and older are welcome to join, with a parent or guardian required to supervise them.

  • Languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, and German. It’s recommended to bring a Swahili-to-English phrasebook to help communicate with locals, who appreciate any effort to speak their language.

  • Main Wildlife: Expect to see the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino – as well as zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, and many more animals.

  • 6 days of exciting game drives through Tanzania’s most iconic parks.

  • A chance to spot the Big Five in their natural habitats.

  • Exploration of Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park.

Throughout your safari, you'll enjoy delicious daily meals, and for your health and safety, only bottled water will be provided. The vehicles are stocked with plenty of bottled water to keep you hydrated while you explore the parks.

It is not only the elephants rather a varied numbers of animals such as to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and more than 500 types of birds make this the one stop solution for both the bird and the animal lovers. Breakfast at around 0800am. Proceed with morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the Camp in the midafternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masaai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. The Serengeti National park is an arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen there including the “big 5” - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and a profusion of over 500 species of birds. In May or early June, huge herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra begin their annual spectacular migration northwards. In their wake follow predators, lion, cheetah and wild dogs with vultures circling overhead! Come back for dinner and overnight.

Optional

If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife.
The hot-air balloon gently takes you up in the air and floats wherever the morning winds may take you. During the ride you have a stunning and far-reaching view of the great plains of the Serengeti. From here you can spot big herds of wildebeest, giraffes and prides of lion’s right below you. At the right time of year and with a good amount of luck you might even be able to experience the great migration from above.
