This 6-day safari trip will take you through some of the most popular national parks in Tanzania where you can enjoy rich wildlife and pristine beauty while learning more about the people who have lived in those places since time immemorial.

Start your tour form Lake Manyara National park, a well-known destination for big-game viewing. Travel to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous and largest national park that is also one of the most spectacular conservation areas in the world.

Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact crater in the world that is also abundant in diverse wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, lions, leopards, and hyenas. Also see wildebeests, warthogs, baboons, hippos and elephants in their natural habitat.

Learn more about the lives of the Hadzabe, regarded as one of the last hunter-gatherers in Africa, up close. Meet the members of Datoga and Barbaig tribes, who still forge their hunting spears. Do not miss this opportunity to explore some of the most popular safari destinations in Africa.

    Distance: 30km /50km

    Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. Transfer to Parkview inn/ planet Lodge for dinner and overnight BD. (40 km, 30 minutes)

  • Day 1

    Lake Manyara National Park

    Distance: 190km

    Non – game viewing time: 4hrs

    After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Late afternoon transfer to our private bush camp beside Lake

  • Day 2

    Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro crater

    Distance: 100km

    Non – game viewing time: 4hrs

    Early morning hunt with the Bushmen, with tuition in survival skills. After transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually have been seen here.

  • Day 3

    Serengeti National park

    Distance: 145km

    Non – game viewing time: 3-4hrs

    After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite/Lodge depending on customer suggestion

  • Day 4

    Serengeti National Park

    Distance: -

    Non – game viewing time: 1hrs

    After an early breakfast, Embark on a Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. (Wildebeest migration game drive) Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite/Lodge depending on customer suggestions

  • Day 5

    Serengeti National Park – Lake Natron

    Distance: 300km

    Non – game viewing time: 4-5hrs

    After an early breakfast, Do a morning game drive then after do a game en route towards north Serengeti. Check out of the park at Klein’s gate then transfer to Lake Natron for an early dinner and overnight. Go for an evening lake Natron walk for sunset if time permits. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Campsite/Lodge depending on customer suggestion.

  • Day 6

    Lake Natron – Moshi/Arusha

    Distance: 250km

    Non – game viewing time: 3-4hrs

    Night ascent & dawn summit bid, OldoinyoLengai (seismic conditions permitting). Optional waterfall hike and swim. After transfer to Moshi/Arusha for airport drop off or overnight.
